Pikit is robotic-control kit for building and programming your own robot. It consist from several different types of modules (as head, robotic legs, wheels and etc.) whose can be easily combined together. All sensors used in Pikit allow the robot to move, speak with you, react to the environment around him and much more. All that snaps together like a “ Bricks of LEGO ”
PiKit is unique, because of his brain. It is extremely powerful PiController module with dual core 1GHz ARM processor. PiController comes with preinstalled OS Linux, Wi-Fi module and many input/output ports and interfaces.
Thanks to Linux based PiController robots it is able to solve complicated problems such as computer vision, object recognition, speech recognition and synthesis.
Pikit includes HD camera through which it can be able to stream a video directly from robot to computer. This can give you perfect possibilities to explore the unknown world outside of your room. Robot is controlled by cell phone and wifi, but it is also able to recognize the voice commands. Pikit equipment comes also with the sensor for estimating distances, so your assistance in some cases will not be so necessary.
